1. Grove Square Chai Latte — Great Flavor

Grove Square makes a pretty good chai latte. This K cup is flavorful, rich, and creamy. The mix of instant black tea with milk, honey, sugar, and others is done quite expertly.

I like how flavorful this is, and gets very close to masala chai

This chai latte has a good combination of black tea and milk. Tea doesn’t quite have the same caffeine content as coffee, so there is less caffeine in this cup. However, it does taste and feel smooth, and that makes all the difference.

2. Cafe Escapes, Chai Latte Tea Beverage — Best Overall

Cafe Escapes got the chai latte right. Its flavor and consistency get close to whipping up a chai latte yourself using fresh ingredients. Of course, this one has the convenience of enjoying the tea within a few seconds with the Keurig.

It contains instant black tea, sugar, and dried milk as the main ingredients. The notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves with a hint of black pepper make this delicious. This chai latte is also fairly aromatic, thanks to all those spices present in the K cup.

Cafe Escapes Chai Tea Latte doesn’t contain any trans fat or gluten. The caffeine content is less than 10mg, though the flavor and taste continue to be fairly bold.

This is also our top choice for Chai Latte Tea K Cups.

3. Solimo Tea Pods, Chai Latte — Good Value

Solimo is an Amazon brand and is great at striking a balance between taste and value. The contents of Solimo remain the same as what we’d expect from a cup of chai latte. There’s black tea, milk, sugar, and spices like cardamom and cloves.

There’s a strong taste of anise in the K cups. Anise is a wonderful spice and delicious, but it lacks the same flavor profile as other spices. I think adding more cardamom would do wonders for taste. The latte lacks a bit in consistency and can feel on the watery side. Thankfully, it doesn’t go overboard with this and stays on an acceptable level.

For its price, it delivers great on taste. I’d call it a budget chai tea latte, and it seems to hold pretty well in that regard.

4. Tazo Chai Tea Latte K Cups — Excellent Aroma

Brewing Tazo Chai Tea Latte K Cups is pretty much a treat by itself. The cup is wonderfully aromatic and the spicy taste captures the essence of masala chai extremely well. Its wonderful fragrance is down to the careful selection of spices.

Tazo Chai Latte K cups are richly imbued with cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and vanilla. The latter is an interesting ingredient since vanilla isn’t ordinarily found in chai. However, it seems to blend in well with the aroma and overall taste of other spices. The touch of black pepper adds nicely to the heat and flavor of the cup.

Principal ingredients for this Tazo K Cup are instant black tea, dry milk, and sugar. Apart from the ingredients already mentioned, you’ll also find cloves, star anise, and honey in these K cups.

5. Cha4TEA Chai Black Tea Pods — Non-milk Option

Cha4TEA Chai Black Tea Pods take the route to spicy tea without adding milk. This is a sumptuous black tea. Since there are no milk or milk alternatives, it can’t be called a tea latte. As a spicy tea, it is fairly impressive.

On a personal note, I never thought I’d like the chai latte experience without milk. This one turned out to be surprisingly good. Though I still prefer the chai tea latte, I hold this spicy black tea in very high regard.

Ingredients include black tea and Assam tea, and these unlikely bedfellows create an interesting combination. Spices in the cup include black pepper, and organic cardamom, cloves, and ginger.

6. Celestial Seasonings India Spice Chai Tea K-Cup — Good Blend

Celestial Seasonings India Spice Chai Tea K-Cup has its eyes on the “authentic” experience. The blend is geared towards being aromatic and spicy. There is no milk or sugar in these cups, so you stay with great flavors.

You can add sugar and milk/alternatives later to suit your taste. However, the cup takes the route of being a black tea blend with spices harmonizing the taste. It’s quite good as a black tea as well, but I’ll suggest adding some milk or milk alternatives for a better experience.

Quick Guide On Buying Chai Tea Latte

Look Out For The Flavors

Cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and (sometimes) ginger are common flavors for the chai tea latte. The first three are the most common, and add a pretty good flavor to the chai. Most blends also use anise, which adds a pleasant flavor.

However, if you feel the blend is going heavy on anise overshadowing cardamom, it’s probably going towards the budget side. I’m not a big fan of putting anise and cardamom in the same blend. They seem to undercut each other. However, that is the common combination of the chai tea latte, and it’s good enough to overlook this subtle difference.

Caffeine Content

Your chai tea latte will have caffeine. Tea, like coffee, has caffeine. However, the caffeine content in tea is remarkably lower than coffee.

Value

Chai tea latte K cups are an excellent beverage. Many of these are almost as good as brewing them by yourself. However, if you make the chai for yourself and enjoy it regularly, the K Cup isn’t the best value.

If you’ve never tried chai tea latte, you’re missing something! If you’re not sure where to buy, give your nearest Starbucks a shot. On that note, Starbucks chai tea latte K cups are worth a try as well.

You’re better off sticking to the routine, though you certainly can (and should) enjoy chai tea latte K cups with variety packs.

Chai Tea Latte Experience

Its spicy flavors and smooth touch make the chai tea latte experience wholesome. The beverage became popular with the Indian masala chai and its flavorful touch. The good thing is, the flavors can be competently created with K cups. The best chai tea latte K cups pack a wonderful touch of spices. Using a quality blend of teas adds to the flavor and the experience.
